Day trip to New Orleans, LA

July 2018:
Art and I explored New Orleans, after a quick shuttle ride from Pontchartrain Landing. It was a blast during the day. I can only imagine how crazy it gets during Marti Gras!!!
Great outdoor covered markets

Fun shops!

Entrance to the French Flea Market
This Flea Market was blocks long.

Interesting art work and architecture
Still shopping!

The Voo Doo vibe was everywhere.
Gorgeous!

Take a carriage ride around the city.
We found the greatest lunch spot.

The courtyard had a fountain and outdoor dining.
One of the bars is located behind me.

Art is studying the map for our next stop.
This was the greatest salad!

A selfie at the fountain.

I recommend lunch and a Hurricane at
Pat O'Briens.
Lots of old town character

River views
Gloomy but gorgeous

The park was nice
You could spend the day on this river boat
(there were lots of people waiting for this)

A decorative gator in one of the stores.
Art had to sampe a Bloody Mary.

We loved the music and the vibe in New Orleans. We are most certainly going back soon.
