REVIEW OF TRIP: Great campground with large, pull-thru sites, huge dog-run, both paved and gravel sites with lots of grassy areas. Overall this is a very nice campground. Great cell coverage and decent wi-fi. The only cons were in the traffic is busy and turning into the entrance can be a challenge with on-coming traffic. Downtown Charleston is nearby as well as all the islands, golfing, groceries... etc. During our stay we golfed two days (alligators at both courses), beached one, visited the Angel Oak and played tourist downtown. Cutest find was Wadmalaw Island! Adorable upscale town center with boutique shops and super clean beaches.
